The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights features five million holiday lights that turn the entire backlot at the Disney-MGM Studios into a winter wonderland. Walt Disney World's Indy 200. Late January. Indy Style race cars. Located in Walt Disney World Speedway.

February

Silver Spurs Rodeo. Mid-February. Attracting the PRCA's top 40 cowboys, this is the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi.

Central Florida Fair. Late-February. Featuring carnival rides and games, food, exhibits, music, and much more.

March

Bach Festival. Early March. Located in Rollins College.

Kissimmee Blue Grass Festival. Early March. Four day event featuring bluegrass gospel music, arts and crafts. Located in the Silver Spurs Arena, 1875 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.

International Orchid Fair. Mid March. Thousands of orchids from all over the world. Located at World of Orchids, 2501 N. Old Lake Wilson Road.

Disney's Easter Parade. Easter Week. The Magic Kingdom Park hosts an Easter Parade with live performances and Disney characters.

April

Spring Fiesta at Lake Eola. Early April. Outdoor fun and family activities.

International Fringe Festival. Mid April. Hundreds of theatrical performances take place at several locations in Downtown Orlando.

International Flower & Garden Festival. Mid April-May. The annual festival at Epcot features colorful gardens, topiaries, and spectacular horticulture displays, plus workshopsabout innovative gardening techniques, environmentally sound gardening, entertainment and special presentationsby noted garden experts.

Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival . All throughout April. The Shakespearean works are performed during the month by professional actors.

Deep Sea Fishing Derby. May. Fishing tournament.

June

Florida Film Festival . Mid June. Featuring over 100 films, documentaries and shorts from around the world. Located in the Enzian Theater, 1300 S. Orlando Avenue.

July

Lake Eola Picnic in the Park. 4th of July. Celebration includes games and entertainment.

August

Summer Music Games World Championships. Mid August. Drum Corps International held at Florida Citrus Bowl.

September

Osceola Art Festival. Mid September. Artists from across the state feature their oil paintings, sculptures, photography, etc. Located at Kissimme Lakefront Park, Monument Avenue and Lakeshore Drive.

Annual Mexican Fiesta. Mid September. Highlighting Mexican traditions, food, music and more. Located in Lake Eola, Rosalind Avenue.

October

Halloween Horror Night at Universal Studios. All through October.

Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Golf Classic. Early October. Annual PGA Tour featuring top pro golphers and amateurs at some of Walt Disney World's golf courses.

International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. Late October-Mid November. The festival features more than 100 wineries, food from different countries, a Bordeaux Wine School program and cooking demonstrations.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween. Late October. Mickey is the host of this Halloween party, it features a children's costume parade.

November

Festival of Trees. Mid November. Festival features designer Christmas trees, carolers, seminars and more. Located in the Orlando Museum of Art.

Annual Candlelight Processional. Late November-December. A celebrity narrator retells the Christmas story with a symphony orchestra and a choir of hundreds. Candlelight procession. Located in American theater at Epcot.

December

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade and Party at Magic Kingdom. All through December. Mickey is the host of this special party, with snow flakes, cookies, hot chocolate, a parade, fireworks and more.

Holidays Around the World. December. The customs of other countries are shown at the World Showcase Epcot.
