Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort - Guest Reviews

"Loved the ease of it all"

My family (myself, husband and 9-year old daughter) traveled to Orlando during Labor Day week. Our stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort was wonderful! We stayed in the Aruba cluster of rooms and couldn't have been happier with the room. It was very clean, comfortable and cheery. Our walk to the food court was not a very long one and I found it very pleasant to take the stroll there several times a day. The food was good and within the price range I expected. One night we went to the Shutters Restaurant where the food was excellent and the service outstanding. Transporation to and from the parks was very good. The overall staff and service I would say was excellent.

"Pleased with Caribbean Beach Resort"

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort from Nov. 8-16, 2003. We found the resort immaculately clean, the rooms very nicely decorated and the service to be just fine. The setting is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the parks--very non-commercial and out of the way. A nice respite at the end of the day.The food court was great for kids and very handy for breakfast or a quick dinner at the end of the day.We enjoyed the boat and bike rentals on the premises as well as the main pool and the pool in our particular village. Do be aware of wha building you are put in, because this is a sprawling resort and you cannot be afraid of walking.Buses were generally good and timely. Only had to wait long once during the entire week we were there. We did Epcot for 2 days, Magic Kingdom for 2 days, 1 day at MGM and 1 day at Typhoon Lagoon and 1 day to relax at the resort. We had a great time and would definitely go back!

"Relaxing ..... but too far to walk!"

Check in started off rough.... as we were given rooms at the other end of the resort were a shuttle is needed to get to the food court/gift shop being 6 mo pregant w/ 2 kids it makes it hard. Although after some negotiating we did get rooms closer however, the couple we were put in a room which smelled horriably of MOLD. The staff was polite and the food was okay and open late for those late night cravings. The biggest down fall with this resort is the location of some rooms.
